There's quite a fascinating history to buttons. With advances in technology and influences to culture, a button's materials and production has significantly changed over time. This poster guides viewers throughout the different materials used to make a button throughout history. The goal was to create a poster that chronologically guides viewers throughout the different materials to make buttons. My main focus for this poster was to develop a clear visual and typographic heirarchy through composition, scale, and contrast. After many iterations, I settled on a composition that whimsically and thematically leads the viewer chronologically throughout different buttons.
